Maybe I have not explained well my thoughts. With the d300 the difference from the camera jpeg and the raw default setting was minimal. I see a huge difference with the D810. Hi Michele, I'm also a D810 owner and mostly unsatisfied with my raw processing. Didn't quite understand your question. Differences between d300 and D810 or D810 an D810? Anyway: here's my quick attempt with your picture – nice scenery. Processing details contained in the jpg.
