Yep, it did help a bit with desaturating red pixels, purple changed
hue, but white remained untouched.
Anyway, this is not dedicated method for removing them. I just compared
Rawtherapee with Darktable and it performed much better. Default
settings removed everything except purple. But reducing th

As expected: each lowpass instance is blurring other instance's duck.
Instead of multiple instances you might want to

3 neighbors helps but not much. I'm not sure that blurring chroma
channel is a good idea if high quality is desired but anyway, which
settings do you recommend for lowpass module?

I apply a 3 pixel blur to the chroma channel using the lowpass filter
(thank you Harry Durgin). I also check the detect by 3 neighbors box in
the hot pixels module.

darktable-user@lists.darktable.org is the right address. But you need
to use Reply All, not just Reply.

Not that I'd be aware of. I have

did you at some point adjust the number of worker threads by any

darktable segfaults shortly after startup.
$ darktable
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
This occurred for the first time when I tried to apply a history stack
to a couple of images (about 15). Darktable crashed during this
operation. Now it always segfaults shortly after startup.
