As a Linux-centric application, Darktable sees only one drive *as* a drive
-- all other drives are represented as folders.
After you have opened the import dialog, in the left-hand bar above "Other
Locations" there should be a folder icon with just a slash next to it. If

Try opening up a terminal and entering the command
/Applications/darktable.app/Contents/MacOS/darktable
Then if Darktable crashes it will output the crash report to the terminal.

the results. I have setup my camera to do bracketing and I select three
raw images from the camera manually and click on create HDR button.
