My lua-scripts for exports stopped working and I am not sure why. I could
recently use something like 'Edit with Gimp'.

I bought myself a Wacom tablet and am learning how to use it.
One thing I could so far not figure out is how to imitate the scrolling
(mouse wheel) to resize for example the brushes when using a drawn mask.

on a different image, the previous snapshots stil sits
Thanks for reference to these scripts. I did not know about them. So I
installed it from github.
Unfortunately the gimp script does not work as described. I get the
message "Launching gimp" , but gimp is not launched and the exported images
are dumped in ~/.local/tmp/

When I start darktable from the commandline I get

As far as I can see everything in *.config/darktable* is owned by the user

I have removed the tick under core-options to use per camera base-curve
automatically, but that does not make any difference.
This is Darktable 2.6.1

Thanks to the developers!
I am trying to build the documentation. The instructions in doc/README
does not help me. It tells me:
Optionally, to build the user manual:
- Java JDK, `gnome-doc-utils`, Saxon 6.5.x, FOP and ImageMagick
- `xsltproc` and the DocBook XML DTD and XSL stylesheets
