there are no adapters for derby, hsqldb or h2 in datamapper 1.x and I

btw, I failed to mention that I'm running under Jruby and that I guess then
the objective would to connect via jdbc or is everything targeting Jruby
relying on Java Data Objects ?

[DataMapper] datamapper and derby

2013-06-12 Thread Charles Monteiro
hi , I realize that there's an effort to run derby under data objects but I
want to run under the core Datamapper api, effectively so that my code can
plug in either sqllite or derby. To that objective I have tried to make
derby work against the sample code in the DataMapper's Getting started
guide , sqllite will work fine , but I can't get Derby to work.

Is it possible to use Derby using the standard Datamapper api ? i.e. not
Data Objects api ?

thanks
