You won't be able to find a watershed wise population in India. Until the
specfic program should be based on that watershed. So try delineation your
boundary with village level census data set. And try contacting your state
WRD department.

I'm looking for population data of taluk/sub districts for the states of
Maharashtra, Gujarat, Dadar & Nagar Haveli. I tried looking up in census of
india website but could not find the population data for taluks/sub districts.
So, if you have any pointers on this, please let me know.
