IMD also has a website where you can get hourly rainfall data (they even provide as granular as 15 minutes supposedly): http://aws.imd.gov.in:8091/ They have national level coverage, but there's lots of stations marked in Kerala, so coverage would be quite good. I'm not sure how frequently the
