Please check the NRSC Bhuvan website https://bhuvan-wbis.nrsc.gov.in/ There 
is a Chlorophyll Index provided under the Water quality

In General, it will be helpful if you know the river name or the Gauge 
Discharge (GD) station name to obtain the data

The current status / flood discharge can be obtained from 
https://ffs.india-water.gov.in/

Also check CWC website for historical data from year books, hydrological 
data publications

I am glad to be the part of this community for some years, I take this 
opportunity to announce  requirement for  experienced persons here to apply 
as GIS Development Specialist (part time) mainly with Google Earth Engine 
Expertise  for an exciting project that will have larger impacts and 
benefits to the community and society. 

About the Project:
The Karnataka Integrated and Sustainable Water Resources Management 
Investment Program (KISWRMIP) is a Multi-tranche Financing Facility (MFF) 
program of the Government of Karnataka funded by the Asian Development Bank 
(ADB). The main objective of the program is to improve water availability 
to meet competing water demands in selected river basins by implementing 
integrated water resources management (IWRM) in the State. The Karnataka 
Water Resources Information System (KWRIS) was operationalized during 
Tranche1. As part of Tranche2, various Decision Support System (DSS) tools 
are being developed. The important DSS tool under development is the Remote 
Sensing toolbox utilizing vast Earth Observation data that is available in 
public domain. Google Earth Engine (GEE) is an important tool in this 
regard.  The objective of the assignment is to develop algorithms, tools 
and outputs related to water resources management and agricultural 
monitoring. The outputs of the GEE will feed into the KWRIS portal and 
interfacing IT applications and integration of various water-related 
datasets.
