fast-cgi version sounds interesting, but I have no experience in fast-cgi
applications, may be it will appear in next versions.

I have 3 dpsearch database (each up to 30-50 documents).
But you need to use mod_dpsearch as the module to Apache web server, if you are
going to have a lot search queries.

DataparkSearch is able to index up to several million documents, depending on
average document size and hardware used (this is for cache dbmode).
