Coordinate with technical project managers, developers, and DBA Team to confirm web-feasibility and efficiency of programming with regard to database driven solutions. Contribute to the ongoing development of technology and production processes company-wide. Commerce server experience a plus, not a must... Regular communication to the management concerning a project’s status, potential risks, concerns, problems, and needs. Keep abreast of new design tools, hardware, software, and technology and make recommendations for future deployment. *Skills/experience* Must have 6+ years experience in MS SQL Server (2005, 2000, 7.0) Must have experience on Windows 2003/2000/NT Must have backup & recovery and operational experience Experience with database monitoring tools . PERL scripting a MUST Must have hands on experience with SQL Trace, Profiler, DTS, SSIS, Query Analyzer and EM. Must have knowledge of Data warehouse design and Implementation Oracle (10g, 9i) and PL/SQL knowledge a plus Excellent leadership capabilities, and communication and documentation skills Ability to be proactive and work well in a pressured and growing environment.
