Esoftmatic DBI and DBD version for ActiveState?

It seems the latest version on the esoftmatic site is for 5.8.4, is this due to the same licensing issue that ActiveState speaks of w.r.t. Oracle client? My ActiveState perl version is 5.8.7 and I didn't have much luck trying to make DBD-Oracle myself (platform Win XP). Thanks! Larry Pieniazek

Has any one got this to work on Solaris 9 OS? I have an application that everytime we move it to a new server I have to re-make these Modules otherwise I get errors about Can't find libclntsh... is there a better way to make these modules to make them more flexable to use on different servers?
