It seems the latest version on the esoftmatic site is for 5.8.4, is this due
to the same licensing issue that ActiveState speaks of w.r.t. Oracle client?
My ActiveState perl version is 5.8.7 and I didn't have much luck trying to
make DBD-Oracle myself (platform Win XP).
Thanks!

Has any one got this to work on Solaris 9 OS? I have an application that
everytime we move it to a new server I have to re-make these Modules
otherwise I get errors about Can't find libclntsh... is there a better

I think I should mention: when I re-

Following your suggestion, I am trying to re-build the perl.
Unfortunately, I am only able to find the perl 5.8.7 source code(not
5.8.6 as in your doc), and failed. Would you tell me where I can find
perl 5.8.6 source code? Thank you very much!
Best regards,
Larry
