Set-up:
Compiler: IBM VAC 4.4.0.3
Apache: 2.0.53
Perl: 5.8.6 (w/ MULTIPLICITY USE_ITHREADS USE_LARGE_FILES
PERL_IMPLICIT_CONTEXT )
Mod_perl: 2.0
DBD::Informix:  2005.02

I haven't really seen anything similar in the past mail list. If I'm
over looking some useful messages please let me know and sorry I didn't
see.

The DBD::Informix 2005.02 tested fine. One question I had though was I
got this error during the make. Does it matter?
"/usr/opt/perl5.8.6/lib/5.8.6/aix-thread-multi/CORE/reentr.inc", line
368.68: 1506-280 (W) Function argument assignment between types
"unsigned char*" and "const unsigned char*" is not allowed.

However I am experiencing signal Segmentation faults -or- SQL: -25580,
pretty regularly when attempting database operations, though not every
time. Everything, including other Perl code under Registry, works fine.
My database code works under an older setup of
Apache2.0.43/Perl5.6.1/mod_perl_1_99. However after upgrading the
Perl5.6.1 to DBD::Informix 2005.02 without similar issues and after
looking at my notes it looks like the Apache 2.0.53 was compiled with
gcc and everything else with the IBM compiler, so I'm leaning toward
that possibly being the culprit. Maybe Apache <-> mod_perl are having
problems? The same programs ran as cgi seem ok. If not I'll keep working
on a simple test program to cause the fault.

Any ideas would be appreciated. :->
