I had the same problem with Sybase 0.95/freetds 0.60 (or less) before, and
Michael Peppler sent me solutions:
Two solutions:
1. Edit DBD::Sybase's dbdimp.c, and change cs_ctx_global() to
cs_ctx_alloc().
2. Get the latest CVS snapshot of FreeTDS.
Now it's fixed with freetds 0.61rc.
