It only works if the password containing any of []() is quoted by the

since AUTHENTICATE LOGIN encodes the username and password in base64.
So: it is only a problem if the client sends unquoted login

Hi peter,
tried
googling, but mostly found instructions for creating my own git
repository.
On the directory you want to put the sources just do:
git clone git://git.dbmail.eu/paul/dbmail
cd dbmail
autoreconf -i
configure ur options
make
make install
When I try to run ./configure --with-mysql I the error unrecognized
options: --with-mysql.
'cause it doesn't exist.
You have to install libzdb and it'll handle the rest.
Then you have only to specify on dbmail.conf that u'r going to use mysql.

the bug on the subject for 2.3.7, or you need more time for the fix?
Thanks,

Paul,
Let me re-ask you something,
What's your technical and professional opinion about MySQL 5.1x?
Do you advise the upgrade for 2.3.7?

I see the bug report at:

It doesn't appear to be resolved, or would it only be resolved if
it's fixed in the main 2.3.x branch? If so, are there any specific
patches from the GIT branch that I can import back into 2.3.x.

I'm trying to migrate from Cyrus to DBMail 2.3.6. I am using
