Dear All,

Members of the DPC are soon to be invited to vote for the finalists of the
Digital Preservation Awards 2012. The vote is open to the 60 or so agencies
that constitute the Coalition including our allies overseas and personal
members.

The shortlist is really very impressive. I hope that we can provoke some
discussion about the wonderful initiatives that are represented here, as well
as celebrating some very significant work that is too often overlooked. We've
compiled a full briefing about the finalists on the DPC website. We are
celebrating their accomplishments with awards in 3 categories and there are 4
nominations in each one, and I hope I can persuade you all to stop for a moment
and read about them.
