Chris, I know its a volunteer-based run event and really appreciated all the hard work they have done as I'm also contributors to open source and always volunteer whenever chance. Let me know if I can deliver any help. Keep up the good work and cheers for all volunteers.

Re: rent a bike

Since I'm staying in Taiwan for a while, I bought a bike in Carrefour (a large super marker chain) for 3200 $NTD (90 EUR). Came with a 1 year warranty and a lock! I guess that's also a reasonable alternative to renting a bike for two weeks. It might even be cheaper to buy one instead of renting
