Daily snapshot clearly no, next alpha release, perhaps. Samuel

Re: possibility to install debian in Russian using A11Y
thanks your second version of the image works fine. but the problem with moving through the lines, words or symbols remained. I'll try to explain it. when reading the terminal automatically, everything is fine, but if you need to read a line, word or symbol, some Russian letters are replaced by English ones. eg, н on h, р on p. this creates difficulties in reading. 09.03.2018 3:34, Samuel Thibault пишет: Samuel Thibault, on jeu. 08 mars 2018 00:39:48 +0100, wrote: https://people.debian.org/~sthibault/tmp/mini.iso contains a fixed version. That was the upgrade to glibc 2.27 which broke locales. I have updated the URL above with a fixed version. That should sound like what it will be with Buster. Samuel

Hello, Please always keep the debian-accessibility list in Cc, so everybody can see what happens with the issue and possibly participate. александр епанешников, on mer. 07 mars 2018 00:46:16 +0300, wrote: > I looked at this installer. and noticed some oddities. > I used the expert mode with speech synthesis enabled. > > When choosing Russian, espeak does not automatically switch to the Russian > version. Oops, indeed, language autoswitch got broken by the newer espeak-ng version. https://people.debian.org/~sthibault/tmp/mini.iso contains a fixed version. Re: possibility to install debian in Russian using A11Y
I looked at this installer. and noticed some oddities. I used the expert mode with speech synthesis enabled. When choosing Russian, espeak does not automatically switch to the Russian version. and although the speech is slightly understandable. when using the numpad key to navigate. I hear completely different words. I wonder if this is due to speakup or sum unusual encoding or fonts 06.03.2018 20:35, Samuel Thibault пишет: александр епанешников, on mar. 06 mars 2018 20:04:52 +0300, wrote: Perhaps you know the time interval when I can try the test installer build? You could however check that it does speak Russian. Samuel

In this case it would be a good idea to make BRLTTY use Russian braille table automatically if Russian language is selected during installation. Thanks.
