Do I have to download libstdc++ manually? Or do I have to set a link
somewhere for that? It's all a little bit confusing to me with this
chroot...
Or can I just use your solution with the amd64-archive in any way? I
only wanted to use the chroot for openoffice.

I installed the free Server on Debian AMD64. This went without any
problems. The problem begins when I start vmware . The VMware
Server Console (e.x.p build-22874) pops-up and show me a Connect to
Host dialog. When I do a connect to localhost I get an error message:

do you know the programm insserv. It should add startup links for a program to
the different runlevels. The system on which it is use should be lsb
compabile. I thought that debian is not lsb compatible, but because the
programm was available via apt, I used it (OK it is my own fault,
