If your mouse is working but the wheel and buttons don't work you might need to fool around with xmodmap. I had to set a line in my .xinitrc to get the buttons on my 7 button mouse in the right order. xmodmap -e pointer = 1 2 3 10 11 4 5 6 7 8 9 On Thu, 15 Jun 2006 00:46:43 +0200 Wolfgang
