cpufreq won't work on any K8 cpu that I have. I've tested multiple machines (details below). I used modprobe to load cpufreq_ondemand, cpufreq_stats, and freq_table, but there's no /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu?/cpufreq/ dir. Here are the machines I've tested: single dual-core opteron 175, msi
