This particular bug is very nasty. I've spent 12 hours hunting down the trouble only to discover that it was caused by this missing configuration line.
I just wanted to make you aware that in my company's environment (IE v6.1 and *only* SSL connections) such a bug wreaks havoc. There should be some warning about this setting when Apache2 config files are being updated. Thanks!
