So it turns out that the partition for the APEX bootloader must be 32 MB.
However, now I am running into another problem trying to boot the kernel. I
get stuck in a loop of some sort as soon below
apex copy ext2://1/boot/zImage-lpd79520-2.6.12 $bootaddr

I have the Logic PD LH79520 SDK. I am trying to load APEX from compactflash
and I am running into problems. I create 2 partitions on a 128 MB
compactflash card. One for the root filesystem and one for the APEX
bootloader (I compiled apex 1.5.13 from source files downloaded from
