Are we using compact, idepci and udma66 flavours for i386 for 2.2r3?
If so we'll need kernel

this is for the woody bootfloppies to be able to install a reiserfs
partition. this patch will allow mkreiserfs to be called with multiple

Debian GNU/Linux 2.2 is out! ( http://www.debian.org/ )
Please make and upload kernel-header-ver.deb along with the new
kernel-image-ver.deb. The winmodems (don't like them, but almost all
the new PCs have them) must have drivers compiled with kernel-headers.
See for example the Lucent kit I help maintain at:

I'm in the process of redoing mklibs.sh. I'm removing a lot of cruft and
cleaning it up.
There are a lot of things that I was able to generalize a lot better.
IOW, it is not specific to slang/libc so much anymore, nor does it have

Using the vanilla installation, it didn't have my network card (3c905), so
it didn't offer the network setup options on installation. Since the system
is already running Red Hat, I compiled a fresh 2.2.19pre kernel and set a
Debian lilo option. Booting into
I built a release of boot-floppies 2.2.22 for i386. Current cvs will build fine
as long as you grab a copy of all 4 2.2.19pre17 debs. Where will we build the
release for 2.2.r3? The resulting archive is quite large. I could transfer it
from my machine to ftp.debian.org in probably 2 or 3
