The problem is missing IDE-floppy support in installation kernel (tested
on udma100-ext3 flavour). In installation process, there is an option to
install drivers and rescue from ZIP/LS-120 disk. But when I've choosed

In theory, basedebs should appear in
woody/main/disks-*/base-images-current/
after today's mirror pulse. However, exactly when that'll happen is up
for some debate, so give it a couple of days.

I'm attempting to install Debian to an NEC UltraLite VERSA laptop
(12 MB Ram, 180 MB Drive) using 1.44 MB floppy disks. The laptop
doesn't have a CD ROM.
Here is what the partition table indicates:

Somebody else already mentioned the Malformed release file bug. I'm
not sure what the cause of this is. A potential fix included an rm
Release, maybe not the best solution. However, a couple of lines
before this snippet is found:
