So this patch is needed I think to update termwrap
with the current dbootstrap action.
It is a step in the right direction, but it is not sufficient. In
addition to setting the LANG and LANGUAGE environment, one need to

Nothing works, no ping, no wget. A run in the strace showed that it

When I try to install woody via loadlin in DOS with the bf2.4 kernel
flavor, loadlin says

I used the standard install.bat:

Why do people keep mumbling about reconfiguring debconf as part of
the install process? That is utterly not needed.
No idea. Someone told me locales depended on debconf, and that it had
to be listed in the --includes list, and I believed it.

When running in a bterm on boot-floppies (i18n disks) modconf doesn't
