Add note that packages depending on base-installer should use the
textutils et al from /target, since that might mean we can reduce
busybox's size.

I just went through the same trouble yesterday with a Dell 2650 PowerEdge.
I was able to successfully boot from the 2.4 boot floppies, but then I had
to compile the bcm5700 driver on a separate machine using the

my ide controller card is not being recognised by both, potato and woody.
Possibly because the kernel in those two is too old.
It's an Acard AEC6280 Controller (no RAID, includes BIOS).
The card is new and works perfectly in Win98, both my primary and secondary
hdd's are connected to it.
aj and I discussed how to make it possible to get install packages
from local components. aj isn't too happy hardcoding anything, so the
patch in 116801 isn't acceptable. I need to be able to install
base-config from a local repository, so I need a fix for this.
