network card using the Sarge netinst CD of today. Autodetection
of the NIC did not work, but I could manually specify the
network driver to load (xircom_cb). The problem is:

least building again. I've committed a fix to debian-cd CVS, so that
manty's next daily CD build should boot cleanly from SRM without any
fiddling.

an upstream problem.
Tried apt-get install gnome-session, after apt-get different errors were
received. Seems like very little of the gnome system was installed.
