IIRC), but failed again today..:-)
No progress, indeed, on the move to buildd goal, but I'm really too
clueless to do this myself

This wishlist bug seems like a pretty small corner case. First let
me restate it to make sure I understand correctly.
You want d-i to do a dhcp request but then use the answers to
define a static config.
Does that

Hello,
I would like to set a gpt label instead of msdos during a preseeded install.
I've searched for such a recipe and tried to disect partman, but still
end up with a msdos label.
What I have now:

The problem seems to be that if the usb-device (hdd, cardreader, etc.) is
plugged in while resp. before booting debian gets 'confused' about the

I am able to reproduce the problem:
USB HDD plugged in while booting : UDF-fs: No VRS found, as mentioned

Hi,
Now that the GTK frontend has been split out to cdebconf-gtk, cdebconf
itself doesn't have any direct or indirect dependency on x11-common,
which I believe means that this dependency cycle is gone. As a
consequence, isn't it safe to close this bug, now ?
Apologies if I got it wrong, please

What could be the problem and how can I fix this error?
As is, nobody can tell.
The logs in terminal 4, or the /var/log/syslog file (or files in
/var/log/installer on the instaleld system) will give you more
information.

It seems that error was related to apt-cacher-ng, we are in the middle
of rolling out ipv6 and the machine apt-cacher-ng is running is was
trying to use ipv6 when contacting security.debian.org. Disabling ipv6
on that machine fixed this issue.
