When I booted the installation DVD to install Debian on a Virtualbox virtual
machine, I used all default options.
I can see a string "Invalid address for shpnt with 1542." on the virtual
machine's console screen.

That part was obviously stupid ^^ ... 1MiB will also be correctly
aligned to 4K sector devices...

Hi folks.
I was making some tests with UEFI and BIOS based systems about how the
Debian installer behaves.
Some questions/ideas:
1) BIOS Boot Partition... it seems you always create it with about 1MiB?
How did you choose that?
a) It seems like a lot, but is it sure that it will be enough in the
Debian installer build overview

* add squeeze and wheezy
* not sure if jessie should be added yet, but probably soon
* drop some archs that aren't supported anymore
Also, once it's updated (and maybe if #50573
I talked with dannf@canonical and I _think_ this is a good list of
ubuntu releases to go in di-sources.list. I split them into LTS and normal
sections as I think that will make it easier to maintain. (but feel free to
reorder if you like)
