I encountered this issue trying to install Buster on a Gigabyte Brix
2807 - hanging at 11% trying to install 'discover'.
Changing the BIOS setting for OS type from Windows 7 to Windows 8 also
fixed it for me.

Dear Maintainer,
When using a preseed file to install a system, it is not possible to
keep a part of the VG free for future use.
To get that result I tried to create an extra LV which I wanted to
remove during the installation at the
Processing control commands:
