Hi,
apparently, the PowerPC CD images of d-i completely lack the 2.6 SCSI

I see. So adding the .udebs just fixed the symptom of my problem by
chance, while the actual bug is

Hi,
The current PowerPC kernel-image packages, i.e. revision 2.6.8-3,
contain a built-in command line that enables most PReP systems to boot
unattended from hard disk. It would be nice if the command line was

Hi,
Subject says it all. This shouldn't happen, since the quik bootloader

Hi,
apparently, the latest build (20040802) lacks a couple of low-level
SCSI modules, among them scsi_transport_spi.ko. This hit me
yesterday, when installing on a IBM RS/6000 43P-100, and as a result,
the system didn't find its hard disks. I looked

Well, having it automatically called on the subarches that need it.
You should be able to put it in the postinst_hook in
kernel-img.conf(5). If not, file a bug report, please.
Yeah, sure, but i think there is a misunderstanding. the duty of
discover is exactly to find the modules
