I noticed that, as of installer beta2, this bug is still not fixed.
I am not an expert, but yet I would like to draw your attention to the fact
that from lenny to squeeze Debian switched from using GRUB to using GRUB2.
GRUB2 now uses a different device numbering scheme than GRUB used. It seems
