Bug#504922: Lenny install bug in package, not in install

I tried installation with a new download of the netinst image. GRUB installation was successful as in my most recent tries. Problem remained; boot from HD hung on Saving VESA state... Reinstalled with NO tasks selected (neither laptop nor standard system). Boot from HD was successful! I
