I would like to recommend adding a 'resume' option to the
debian-installer.
I am starting up my fifth install on the same computer, because I have
been interrupted each time. It would be handy to be able to resume,
rather than taking half an hour to configure the base system each time.

It hangs on "Shipping unavailable module 'ide-floppy' for 'Linux IDE floppy'
Dead in the water. Hardware reset time. If someone can tell me how to
get some more debug info, I'm happy to look further into the issue myself.

A little additional info. I played around a bit more and found that if
I type "net" at the initial boot prompt, the installer works just fine
on my Inspiron 8000. Perhaps there's nothing wrong beyond a bad area on
the CD I burned.
