This is indeed fixed in the pre-RC2 version of the installer. Thanks

(The Sarge installer is much improved over Woody, by the way. Pity
ext3 is the default -- Reiserfs would be a much better choice for a
fresh install.)

Please reassign this bug if I've sent it to the wrong place.
Using the boot disk in Sarge RC1, the command line are ignored.
I.e. running
expert noapic nolapic
still uses the APIC, and /proc/cmdline shows no mention of the added
arguments.
