Howdy,

This is actually a bug in makedev.  The potato version contains
the following lines:

        makedev sunmouse  c 10 6 $mouse
        symlink sunmouse mouse

These created the sunmouse device, but then immediately replaced
it with a symlink to mouse.

The woody version contains the following:

        makedev sunmouse  c 10 6 $mouse
        symlink mouse sunmouse

With this, the device is created and then a symlink from mouse to
sunmouse.  Since this has already been fixed, I'm closing this
bug.
