Hi. From time I clean up my packages and today I removed libdiscover1 since it is a mere transitional package. Now nothing depends on the package discover anymore and thus apt-get suggests to autoremove discover, discover-data and libdiscover2. I’ve read the description of these packages but I

On unstable, do I need discover when I have udev

On an unstable system that is fully up to date, once I have completed an install can I remove discover. I would have thought that udev would do everything that discover used to do. Actually of course I am asking about discover1, but the question is much the same either way. David -- To
