Hi,
The current debootstrap code can't handle .debs which contain a
data.tar.bz2 instead of a data.tar.bz. Attached is a fix.

No, it's not an issue in util-linux, but in the kernel.
Most systems don't need the option, so adding it by default would not be
the correct solution.

And there is a personal limit, where I can speak only for myself.
