Bug#950192: Please remove build dep on aboot

2020-01-29 Thread Moritz Muehlenhoff
Package: debian-installer
Severity: important

aboot has a open RC bug (#949955), but d-i still build depends on it. alpha
isn't a release
arch for a long time anyway.

Cheers,
Moritz

I think I'd be OK with either, looking over the changes, so am happy to
leave the choice up to your judgement. If you decide to include all of

Bug#950166: buster-pu: package systemd/241-7~deb10u3

2020-01-29 Thread Michael Biebl
Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
Tags: buster
User: release.debian@packages.debian.org
Usertags: pu

Hi,

first of all, apologies, that this pu request comes rather late.
I first didn't plan to prepare a release for 10.3, but today #930178 was
reassigned to systemd, which reminded me, that this is an issue we
should fix for stable. So here it goes:

I'd like to fix the following two issues in systemd:

systemd (241-7~deb10u3) buster; urgency=medium

  * core: set fs.file-max sysctl to LONG_MAX rather than ULONG_MAX.
Since kernel 5.2 (but also stable kernels like 4.19.53) the kernel
thankfully returns proper errors when we write a value out of range to
the sysctl. Which however breaks writing ULONG_MAX to request the
maximum value. Hence let's write the new maximum value instead,
LONG_MAX. (Closes: #945018)

https://salsa.debian.org/systemd-team/systemd/commit/673e108907baf1a242c4842ace6e9e3a23b11d52

Upstream cherry-pick, fixed in unstable/testing. Rather straight-forward
fix. I wasn't planning doing a stable upload for this issue alone but
only in combination with other fixes.

  * core: change ownership/mode of the execution directories also for static
users.
This ensures that execution directories like CacheDirectory and
StateDirectory are properly chowned to the user specified in User= before
launching the service. (Closes: #919231)

https://salsa.debian.org/systemd-team/systemd/commit/e9c8637d06e373430b8986643cfb537a23b0b1fd

This is an upstream cherry-pick from
https://github.com/systemd/systemd/pull/12005
I'm a bit undecided whether to cherry-pick all changes from this PR
(which look like worthwile changes to have) or only commit
206e9864de460dd79d9edd7bedb47dee168765e1.

I decided for the latter for now, as it keeps the changes minimal and
seems to fix the issue at hand. That said, would welcome your feedback
here. Would you prefer that we pull in the complete upstream PR #12005
or keep the changes minimal?

PR #12005 is part of v242, i.e. fixed in unstable/testing.

Those changes don't touch udev, but will need an ack from kibi (which
I've CCed).

Regards,
Michael

Bug#950086: base-installer: please support configuring initramfs compression

This is definitely a rather niche option, so "wishlist" is appropriate.

So it's possible to set any arbitrary string, but if you set it to
anything other than "gzip", "xz", or "lzma" then the required
compressor might not be installed. (And it's possible to set a string
that mkinitramfs doesn't install either.)

I think this needs to be a "select" type question, so that only the
supported compression types can be selected.

Ben.

Many thanks for your report! I implemented something along your
suggestion in the latest di-netboot-assistant package. Just let me
know if you have other suggestions and/or something works not as
expected. (I am not regularly using iPXE).

Package: di-netboot-assistant
Version: 0.66
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainers,

First please apologize my ignorance on manual PXE configuration.

I installed di-netboot-assistant with tftpd-hpa, adapted TFTP_ROOT in
/etc/di-netboot-assistant/di-netboot-assistant.conf and installed buster
image with `di-netboot-assistant install buster`.

Using iPXE command line on another computer, I try to netboot with the
following commands:

 dhcp
 chain tftp://my_server/d-i/n-a/pxelinux.0

It loads pxelinux.0 and then fails complaining that it can't load
ldlinux.c32.

Could you tell me if this is a wrong configuration or a bug?
You already provide great DHCP configuration examples with
isc-dhcp-server and dnsmasq, could you also provide one with iPXE
command line?

Regards,
Yvan

Het tweede verborgen geheim

2020-01-29 Thread Johnny Verkuringen
Hallo,

waarde brengen. Geconcentreerd en gedisciplineerd blijven is de
boodschap.

KERNBOODSCHAP vorige mail :

opgericht, de Bank For International Settlements.

bepaald in Zurich.
rechtssysteem, kortom zij vallen buiten alle internationale wetgevingen.

**Bank For International Settlements**, afgekort de

uitgespeeld is.

toe dacht, geloofde of geleerd hebt.

**Opdracht vandaag :**

Google op :
- Who owns the bank for international settlements
- Who founded the bank for international settlements
- Who controls the bank for international settlements

Youtube op :
- Who owns the bank for international settlements
- Who founded the bank for international settlements
- Who controls the bank for international settlements

pagina's
