There is *functional/quality/?* difference between an install from a
physical CD/DVD and from an "equivalent" flash drive.
I have a very atypical use case:
1. internet is *not* available to support installation.
2. my goal is what I consider a minimalist GUI

(linux-image-5.10.0.7-amd64) I started having problems loading the
operating system. Terminal shows "^@^@^@" and freezes. It works well on
previous version 5.10.0.6.
For now i have to select 5.10.0.6 every time on boot. I can't install
