Hello Gustavo,
Hi Otavio,
Please take a look on this bug report since you're one of people
taking care of tasksel desktop task.
The problem here is that tasksel call 'aptitude --without-recommends'
to install the packages so it won't be

Please do.
Not exactly, no. The most suited would be an icon with the lowercase
Hi Joey,
Could you give me a hint about the best image format to the 'icon'
feature? Btw, could we use country/region flags to the l10n tasks?

Indeed. It should depend of both laptop and desktop-gnome.
I'm CCing Gustavo since he's very active in desktop related tasks

But is it worth having a task for *one* package?

Hi,
Isn't /usr/local/share/tasksel enough for you? I think we've similar

Hi,
I would like to suggest tasks icon infrastructure inclusion. It would
be useless for readline frontend, but would be good for the gtk
installer frontend, new gnome-tasksel (porting it to gtk+ 2 right now)
and probably others in the future.
Hi,
Is this bug still relevant? I think 'lshal' (console) and
hal-device-manager (GUI) are doing this job in
desktop environment task, aren't ?
Thanks,

The workaround is purge tasksel 2.44 and install tasksel 2.45, but i would
recommend review the upgrade path here. :)

Since this is a notebook, i guess that it's useful to post this installation report
here, so anybody interested can build a list with the new debian-installer supported
notebooks.
Hope that helps,
