The partitioner did see the two NTFS partitions, of which one was set as bootable. (Ok, known problem) Skipping setting up a local user account (as to configure it by hand to share the settings with the other machines on the network) wasn't intuitive. Just entering blanks on the questions gave me an error, and I had to select Cancel, which gave me the top-level menu. In tasksel (with sv_SE locale), pressing "F", which was highlighted for "Funktionsinfo", i.e info about the task selected, exited tasksel without saving. In tasksel, it's slightly confusing to have two active areas, both the task and a button. Even though I did the install using a sv_SE locale, the installed setup (only selected packages with tasksel this time, to see what it selected for me) only contained en-US/en-GB dictionaries. I would have expected it to include Swedish dictionaries as well, plus things like the Swedish version of OpenOffice instead of the English one. Was unable to get X running with my ATI card, even though I selected autodetect in the X configuration and received no errors. I have a ATI Radeon 9600. -- \\// Peter - http://www.softwolves.pp.se/ I do not read or respond to mail with HTML attachments. --------------------------------------- Received: (at 251536-close) by bugs.debian.org; 14 Jul 2004 20:08:06 +0000 >From [EMAIL PROTECTED] Wed Jul 14 13:08:06 2004 Return-path: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Received: from newraff.debian.org [208.185.25.31] (mail) by spohr.debian.org with esmtp (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1Bkq2v-0002v5-00; Wed, 14 Jul 2004 13:08:06 -0700 Received: from katie by newraff.debian.org with local (Exim 3.35 1 (Debian)) id 1Bkpx4-0002G1-00; Wed, 14 Jul 2004 16:02:02 -0400 From: Joey Hess <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Katie: $Revision: 1.51 $ Subject: Bug#251536: fixed in tasksel 2.05 Message-Id: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sender: Archive Administrator <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Date: Wed, 14 Jul 2004 16:02:02 -0400 Delivered-To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] X-Spam-Checker-Version: SpamAssassin 2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 (1.212-2003-09-23-exp) on spohr.debian.org X-Spam-Status: No, hits=-6.0 required=4.0 tests=BAYES_00,HAS_BUG_NUMBER autolearn=no version=2.60-bugs.debian.org_2004_03_25 X-Spam-Level: X-CrossAssassin-Score: 2 Source: tasksel Source-Version: 2.05 We believe that the bug you reported is fixed in the latest version of tasksel, which is due to be installed in the Debian FTP archive: tasksel_2.05.dsc to pool/main/t/tasksel/tasksel_2.05.dsc tasksel_2.05.tar.gz to pool/main/t/tasksel/tasksel_2.05.tar.gz tasksel_2.05_i386.deb to pool/main/t/tasksel/tasksel_2.05_i386.deb A summary of the changes between this version and the previous one is attached.
