Words being combined happens when lines are being formed somewhere in the bowels of the gettext. Make sure there is a space after système to work around this bug. And a space before each newline in msgstr, except in the last line. The problem is that I cannot find any problem in the fr.po

The two words système and d'exploitation lack a space. On my two test plateforms, systèmed'exploitation stands at the beginning of the second line. Hmmm, this is bloody confusing as the fr.po file really has the needed space. I have a pending french install in VmWare for seeing the problem
