I'm more in the line of using the capitalized form ("Ext2") simply because 
the name of a filesystem is a proper noun and thus has to respect the 
orthographic rules of those that in Spanish have to be written with the 
first letter capitalized.

*But* according to the second of Santiago's claims (b), and just for this 
specific case, it can be kept uncapitalized ("ext2") to maintain the 
same consistency shown in translations done in "partman-ext3" package.
