Hi,
i am the maintainer of the pspp package. The package builds on all
architectures except kfreebsd-amd64. Current version
is 0.8.3-4. See
https://buildd.debian.org/status/package.php?p=psppsuite=sid
The package does not build because one test (read UTF-16 as Auto) in the
regression fails.

With some difficulty, I managed to reproduce the failure situation under
ktrace, so that I could diff with the successful case:
u8-istream-test CALL read(0,0x640670,0x1000)
-u8-istream-test GIO fd 0 read 13 bytes
-0x 6500 6e00 7400 7200 e900 6500 0a
+u8-istream-test GIO fd 0 read 14

Affects GNU/Linux too! It's odd the issue has only been seen yet on
kfreebsd rather than linux buildds; I reproduced it on linux-amd64, and
with similar ~2% probability:

Your package started to build depend on libudev on kfreebsd (and hurd),
making it unbuildable there as libudev is linux-only.

Hi,
Also libmtdev-dev is Linux-specific.
FWIW the package still builds on kfreebsd-amd64 with that and

Dear FTP Masters,
For a while, openjdk-7 was the default JDK on kfreebsd-*. That allowed
eclipse-cdt to build. But this is no longer the case. Java packaging
policy doesn't allow to depend on a non-default Java.
Therefore, please could the out-of-date eclipse-cdt
