On my system qemu is not started via qemuctl although I have qemuctl
installed. AFAICT, qemu-launcher actually generates the wrong command
line when I have the option in question selected.
I can start by hand using the generated command line, if I replace the
initial /usr/bin/qemu with /usr/bin/qemuctl.
This is what is generated:
