After this, the Cyrus pwcheck daemon of course doesn't start, these 2 pwcheck programs are not the same. The installation does this without any warnings, I just found it out accidentally. I haven't yet tried installing cyrus-common after sasl-bin, but I think it would end up the same way. The system is a Debian Woody (originally 3.0r0, but all the patches applied), libc6 2.2.5-11.5 and my custom-compiled 2.4.24 kernel.
