The nvidia modules are currently useless for up-to-date systems. They do
not depend on kernel images, so this might not be a strict policy
violation, but IMO this should be changed. See for example spca5xx or
pcmcia

The following workaround seems to work for me and doesn't involve editing
config files by hand:
1. Add kweather applet to kicker
2. Configure applet and add 2 stations to the list on the right.
3. Click OK
4. Configure applet again. Now you'll have Unknown Station and one of the
stations
