IMO, the latest (0.27) version does not give the error. A non-existent
feed is added as a blank value, which is better than an error. This is
my observation for most feeds. So, I tag this as fixed-upstream.

When I remove gnome-power-manager, I still have the problem.
If I change to a console log-in (ctrl-Alt-F1) then the brightness keys
work, and the brightness setting is maintained when I go back to gdm
(ctrl-alt-F7). I don't know where to report the bug.
