Hi,
This package ships several programs under /usr/bin, this makes
co-installing this shared library with newer ones with different
sonames not possible. Please split the binaries into a separate
package.

Just following up reported problem with security patch has not
re-occurred since rebooting (and rerunning fix), and no problem with 2
servers patched with disable-vmsplice-if-exploitable.c either.
